We’re always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options.
This initial visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We will discuss what you would like for your orthdoontic treatment and how we can make that happen for you.
Questions You Should Ask

At Okamoto Orthodontics, we understand the importance of asking the right questions during your first visit. In addition to addressing common orthodontic treatment basics, we encourage you to inquire about your specific concerns and goals.
Here are some questions you may want to know the answers to:
- Does my child need treatment now, or should it be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
- Do any permanent teeth need to be removed
- What types of brackets do you use?
- Am I or my child a candidate for Invisalign?
- What is the difference between treatment with Invisalign vs braces
Things you should expect
During Your First Visit
During your first visit, Dr Okamoto will sit down and discuss your specific orthodontic needs and goals. Next she will examine your teeth and jaws , take photographs and x-rays and develop a customized treatment plan.
Once you have discussed your treatment desires and needs, you will meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss affordable payment options for the treatment you desire.
Our treatment coordinator will also provide information about insurance options and payment plans. Our office focuses on providing the best treatment that is affordable for nearly every budget.
There is never a charge for your first visit so please call and make an appointment as soon as it’s convenient and allow us the honor of getting to meet you.
