Introducing John, the friendly appointment coordinator at Okamoto Orthodontics. John’s favorite aspect of working in orthodontics is the opportunity to provide exceptional service. He takes pride in greeting patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and at home in the office.
John has a passion for traveling and photography, exploring new places and capturing the beauty of the world through his lens. John loves watching tennis and cheering for the Lakers in basketball. But what truly brings him joy are the road trips he takes with his family. Almost every summer, they visit a National Park. John’s blend of professional warmth, diverse interests, and family values make him a cherished member of the Okamoto Orthodontics team.
Maricela
Orthodontic Assistant
Maricela has worked as an Orthodontic Assistant at Okamoto Orthodontics for over 15 years and is passionate about helping patients build confidence. She enjoys assisting in orthodontic procedures, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
Maricela is a favorite among patients, especially those who may feel anxious about their orthodontic visits.
Outside of work, Maricela enjoys kayaking with her son and loves the outdoors, especially hiking and exploring nature.
Maricela loves making a difference in patients’ lives every day. Her dedication to her role and effort to enhance her skills make her an invaluable member of the Okamoto Orthodontics team.
Alexis
Sterilization Coordinator
Meet Alexis, our dedicated Sterilization Assistant. Alexis brings a unique blend of efficiency and passion to the team. Although her journey in orthodontics has just begun, she already enjoys ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the team, playing a crucial role in the practice.
Outside of work, Alexis loves animals, including creatures of all kinds – furry, feathery, or scaly. She shares this passion with her husband, often embarking on adventures to learn about and interact with new animals. Together they own a lava colored snake.
Inspired by the legendary Steve Irwin, Alexis is fascinated by learning about new places and creatures, and how this knowledge can open people’s minds to new possibilities.
